We have got a busy summer schedule of charity events lined up and we'll need your help please.
Sunday 14th July is Woodseats Festival (this year's theme is sport)
Saturday 20th July is Laycocks Day
Saturday 3rd August is Henleigh Hall Care Home Summer Fair (the Forge 'picnic in the park' will be immediately after this event)
Car Boots - tbc
As experienced charity 'eventers' we know preparation is key, and time is flying by yet again!
How can you help?
We'll be asking for our usual cakes, bakes and volunteers nearer the time, however what we need now is prizes for our tombola stalls on Sunday 14th and Saturday 20th July please. Tombolas (along with our cakes and bakes) have proved to be our biggest money earners!
Here are some ideas
small unwanted gifts you may have left over from Christmas etc
small toiletries, stationery items, puzzle books etc
small items for men - key rings, pens, puzzles etc
small items for kids - bubbles, note books, stickers, hair accessories etc
gift bags too please!

Henleigh Hall Summer Fair on Saturday 3rd August we will be having a book stall, so please bring along any books you are happy to part with

When do you need them?
This one is easy - now please! The sooner we know what we have the more organised we'll be.
Where shall I take them?
Items can be dropped off at the next WI meeting on the 5th June (or 3rd July but we are hoping to have collected enough by 28th June, as we need to allow ourselves time to make the bags up)
Alternatively, items can be dropped off at any committee members house before the 28th June please.
