Tissington is a picture perfect village with beautiful cottages built around a noble old hall, fine church and duck pond. Today we will visit the village during the Well Dressing Festival.

About the Event
Today we will be visiting Tissington in the Peak District. The Tissington Well Dressing is one of the oldest and most famous in Derbyshire, attracting visitors from far and wide. There will be 6 wells to look at as well as a lovely village, craft fair and a café. Unfortunately we cannot book the café in the village but should it be full, there is a café with outside seating about 10 minutes walk away on the Tissington Trail. The cost for the car park was £4.50 per car last year. We will have to park in the official car park which should be signposted off the A 515.
